Audible gift card — do credits expire faster than a regular subscription?

Got an Audible gift card and want to know if redeeming it changes how the credit expiration works compared to a normal membership.

Redeeming a gift card just adds credit/time to your existing plan, it doesn't change the expiration rules on credits.
